Wedding Pianist - piano music at your Wedding or Civil Partnership

Wedding pianist David Nelson will add an extra touch of class to your wedding or civil partnership. Your guests can mingle whilst beautiful piano music is played in the background.

David Nelson has performed professionally, delighting guests at events and celebration, for more than 30 years.

Before your big day you will have an hour-long consultation with David, either by telephone, or if you live near to his home in Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, in your own, or his, home. You can discuss the possibility of him playing pieces that are personal favourites.

Classically trained, David is also a critically acclaimed jazz pianist, and can turn his hands to songs from the shows, Beatles numbers, boogie-woogie — his repertoire is huge. Click on the links at the top of the page to get an idea of what is possible.

We used David for our wedding after finding his website, and he was brilliant. David had a great repertoire which we were allowed to customize, and even make suggestions/requests for particular songs that were special to us. I requested quite an unusual song from a dance music background as a surprise for my husband and specifically asked it to be turned into a slower classical piano version, and I did wonder if I had asked too much and if it was even possible! But the song was played beautifully, just as I had imagined and it went down brilliantly with the guests too who recognised the tune!
